I belive you can find out why Satan was cast down in Isaiah 14:12-14--"I will raise my throne above the stars of God."

I think that in reading the first 2 chapters of Job, it is apparent that Satan is involved in our lives. I think it is good to be mindful of him as Jesus says in John 10:10--"The theif comes only to steal, kill and destroy." Somewhere else it says that Satan prowls the earth like a ravaging lion looking for someone to destroy. And Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." I don't think it hurts to be mindful of Satan, however, our focus should be on "if God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things. . . For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, nor things present nor things to come nor powers, nor height nor depth nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS."
