i recently heard that the name of god is Yahweh or Yave,(no correct spelling) and that the way it is pronounced sounds like when you take a in breath and breathe out, so everytime you breath you are taking the lords name..so everyman living is taking the lords name. So, taking the lords name in vain, means that you live in vain without knowing his word. the word God Damn has nothing to do with it.
