I personally rely on the King James Version. I have found it to be the one that speaks clearly to my heart through the Holy Ghost and the one that is the most accurate. If you want to really understand the different versions, there is a book called let's weigh the evidence that I think you should read. It is by Chick Publications: http://www.chick.com/catalog/books/0184.asp . I think you will find this will add a lot of clarification.
