Tramaine Hawkins “Still Tramaine” (Gospocentric) It has been seven years since we have heard from Tramaine. We have
been awaiting Tramaine’s return to the gospel music scene and
Saints her return is not a disappointment. This album is filled
with beautiful music. Tramaine belts out some great tunes with her
powerful voice. She is “Still Tramaine” with a more mature
sound. Most of this project is filled with slow cuts.

Richard Smallwood & Vision “Persuaded - Live in DC” (Verity)
This project was recorded at the Jericho City of Praise in
Landover, Maryland. Richard Smallwood produced this album with
help from Steven Ford and they give gospel music a different flava,
an orchestra sound. The album opens up with an orchestra prelude
followed by an anthem of Praise and then Richard captures your
spirit with the first single from the album “My Everything”
(Praise Waiteth). Smallwood treats the Saints to a concert of
praise and worship. He also delivers a wonderful piano solo, “
It Is Well With My Soul/Come Ye Disconsolate”. This is one of
those projects that grows on you.
Calvary: This tune will move
your soul. Maurette Brown Clark, Darlene Simmons and Carlene A.
Hatchett brings this tune home. It’s a pretty tune.

and over again.
Best Cuts: Psalm 8, Oh Lord We Worship You, Hold On Don’t Let Go,
Your Love Divine, Persuaded
